I joined up in 1972 with my first posting to British honduras after my initial training in Wyvern Barracks in Exeter Devon. We flew from RAF Brize Norton and the USA. Via Washington DC and Miami, Florida. Neeedless to say it was a good posting for an eighteen year old. I served in the Devon and Dorsets and served in British Honduras now called Belize, Northern Ireland and Kenya.
